I’m Mary Catherine Jones, Owner and principal talent at Voice Over Vermont. We all know the importance of visuals and rich messaging to kick up our marketing and training efforts. I’ve been bringing the written word to life for almost 20 years – from humble beginnings as the “Crazy Story Lady” at the weekly library story hour to doing promo spots for Spalding, cooking demos for Cabot Cheese, and training materials for the U.S. Army. I am a professional member of the World Voices Organization, use Pro Tools and iZotope for recording, editing, and mp3 delivery, and work in my custom built recording studio 365 days of the year (unless I’m needed on site for a project. Yes, I do travel.) A native Washingtonian, I have a neutral educated affect in my regular speaking voice that flows naturally into any project I am working on. I graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in psychology – so I know how to articulate the unspoken message inherent in the scripts I receive.
