The first Shelburne Day was held in 2006 to complement Shelburne's sidewalk sale and has become an annual Shelburne tradition.

Held on the third Saturday in August, Shelburne Day offers activities for children, demonstrations by the rescue squad and firemen, fingerprinting of children by the police department, the Shelburne Farmer's Market, crafters, food, and a variety of live music.
In 2008 Shelburne Day attracted a crowd of well over 2500 people.
SBPA provides display space for Shelburne businesses (free of charge for SBPA members) and other exhibitors that want to join in the Shelburne Day festivities.
